Samantha and Nellie. Bringing Nellie home


Inspired by our first book selection Dacia, one of our book club members decided to welcome Nellie to her doll family.
Dacia was able to located Nellie in "un played" with condition on Ebay for under $120.00 shipped she really got a great deal!
I am so thrilled that Dacia let me share with you all these photos of Nellie's home coming.

    Congratulations on bringing Nellie home Dacia! I recently received a Nellie of my own and can't get over how cute she is in person. Reading the mysteries has really helped me bond more with Nellie's character, with all the American girl characters actually. I can't believe I've waited this long to read the mysteries, however I've discovered they are very addicting. Once I start one it's very hard to put it down. Anyway, I'll try to send pictures of my Nellie soon!

      Thanks Heather, we are so excited. I had only read Meet Samantha, so as soon asI finishes the first mystery I decieded we HAD to have Nellie. Our Samantha deserved to be with her Sister. We just love her! Nellie is so pretty, and our Samantha is thrilled too! I think I need to make her a Kiss me I'm Irish shirt before st pattys day.

    No Nellie at our house yet, but we do have Samantha. This will be my first read through of her mysteries; very happy to have found your blog, Karen! I'm enjoying the doll photos and photos of early New York very much! Now to start reading....

    Nellie was my first doll! I absolutely love her! The minis I have: Rebecca, Marie Grace, Holiday Julie, and Cecile. Love this blog! I love being a part of the online mystery club! It's so cool to meet fellow AG fans!
